My Story (Pt. 2)

My story Update:

I am now 24 years old. Been on dialysis for a year and a half now. It has been very hard many ups and downs but we have made it to this exciting news: my younger sister Jackie has been approved to donate her kidney to me! I am so thankful to have her in my life I love her with all my heart. Although, this is a blessing and great news… it is only the beginning. The hardest part to get through is the surgery itself and post surgery. All I can hope for now is that my sister and I can stay healthy for the next few months and prepare for the biggest surgery together. I am also so thankful for all the help/support, friends and family that all wanted to donate. This is truly going to be life changing for me so I cannot thank my sister enough for bringing me back to life. For everyone out there struggling through tough times, be patient good things will come. Like I said this is great news but it is only the beginning of it all. Much more to come. Thank you everyone.
